A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Dublin city centre earlier this week.

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Dublin city centre earlier this week.
Damien Singleton, of no fixed abode, was charged with the murder of Peter Donnelly, 39, on O’Connell Street in the early hours of last Tuesday morning and with possession of a knife.
He was remanded in custody for a week.
